The Stryker 1488HD Tower is a complete package designed to provide ultra-high-quality surgical imaging and facilitate minimally invasive procedures in laparoscopy, arthroscopy, urology, and general surgery.

1488HD Processor and Camera Head

The core of the system consists of the 1488HD 3-Chip processor and camera head, based on state-of-the-art CMOS sensors and premium optics. They offer native 1080p resolution with 10-bit color depth and nine preset configurations for specialties such as gynecology, ENT, and bariatric surgery. The four programmable buttons on the head allow for image capture, electronic zoom adjustment, and white balance activation without taking your eyes off the surgical field.

L9000 LED Light Source

The L9000 replaces the xenon lamp with a long-life LED (>30,000 h), minimizing maintenance costs and heat emitted into the operating room. Its Electronic Scope Sensing Technology (ESST) automatically puts the unit into standby mode when no endoscope is connected, improving patient safety and extending the life of the LED. The 6500 K spectrum reproduces true colors and allows for clear differentiation of vessels and tissues.

26-inch medical monitor

The 26″ Full HD IPS monitor features a 178° viewing angle and a 1400:1 contrast ratio, delivering crisp images for the entire surgical team. Dual DVI and 3G-SDI inputs allow connection of the tower and an external recorder without any loss of quality. The anti-glare glass reduces glare from operating room lights, improving eye strain during extended surgeries.

PneumoSure XL Insufflator

For pneumoperitoneum management, the tower incorporates the PneumoSure XL , a high-flow insufflator capable of delivering up to 45 L/min and pressures between 3 and 25 mmHg. It includes a gas warming option to reduce hypothermia and postoperative pain. The compensation algorithm detects leaks and instantly restores pressure, maintaining a stable and safe field for the surgeon.

Car and integration

The entire system is mounted on a steel cart with locking casters, adjustable shelves, and protected power outlets. Cable management via cable trays maintains a tidy environment, and USB/DVI ports facilitate connection to DICOM printers and 4K capture systems. Thanks to Stryker's open architecture, the Stryker 1488HD Tower is compatible with future software updates and integrates remote diagnostics for preventative maintenance.
